MyEnglish challenges students to 'think as they write and write as they think'.

MyEnglish: College Writing targets users who require College level English writing skills to pursue further studies or a career. It includes lessons and assignments on English grammar, reading and writing essays and reports. The assignments on grammar and text structure are scored automatically but the writing assignments require a teacher or tutor to provide feedback and scoring. Since the course focuses particularly on writing, the grammar and text structure assignments are designed to support writing.

MyEnglish series is based on ten years of research and development involving controlled field testing under the direction of Dr. Otto Toews, the principal developer. It has been used with much success in Asia, the United States, Canada and Central America.

Dr. Toews is the principal developer of two other digital authoring environments: WritersKnowledgebuilder (1989) and MultimediaKnowledgebuilder (1994). He is also the author of a multimedia Senior High history CD, In Pursuit of Justice (1994).

MyEnglish has been aligned with the US Language Arts Curriculum and is based on Microsoft Class Server.
